Chris is Getty Images Royal Photographer and also specializes in Assignments work with the team at Getty Images.

From private shoots with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Royal tours and covering some of the world’s biggest news stories, Chris has photographed a diverse range of subjects and events during the last decade with Getty Images.

Over the years assignments have taken him from the Earthquake Zones of Pakistan to the Galapagos Islands, Australia, Los Angeles, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Japan, Dubai, the Arctic Circle, Belize, Brazil and many more.

He has covered events as diverse as drought in the Horn of Africa, black rhino translocations to Tanzania, the Inauguration of Pope Benedict XVI , Venice Film Festival, charity climbs to the top of Kilimanjaro and the Inca trail, the BRITS and BAFTAS and of course, the Royal Weddding. Chris’ image of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge leaving Westminster Abbey as a married couple has become an iconic image of the day

His images are published regularly on the front pages of newspapers around the work and regularly feature in Newsweek, The Washington Post, The Telegraph, Tatler, Hello! the Times and the Telegraph to name but a few.

Chris is 2005 News Photographer of the year and has received a number of special awards for his Royal Photos including Royal Photographer of the Year 2010.

As well as heading up the Royal coverage at Getty Images, Chris is an experienced assignment and reportage photographer willing to tackle most subject matter from portraiture to expeditions to parties to photocalls. He is as comfortable sending his images from a remote environment on satellite phone as shooting social reportage at a society party. Clients he has worked for include Nike, Disney, Vogue, Grey Goose, Orange, Chopard, Cartier, Buena Vista, BAFTA, Orange, Chanel, IWC, Jaeger Le Coulture, British Olympic Committee, Pernod-Ricard, Puma and Vodafone.

Chris continues to work with Prince Harry and William's royal charities Tusk Trust and Sentebale and in July 2013 Chris showed Patron of Sentebale, Prince Harry around his photographs for the Sentebale ‘Stories of Hope’ exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery in Central London.

Chris is a Royal Contributer for ABC News and Good Morning America and has appeared as a Royal spokesperson on BBC Breakfast, RTL, CNN, Sky News, the Today Show, BBC London, CBS Early Show, ITV 1, BBC News 24, FOX News, CTV Canada, Channel 7 Sunrise and Channel 9 Australia as well as Channel News Asia and many more. He is regular commentator on the Royals in the press.
