From the fields of Ascot to the front rows of British designers, June was the month where the entertainment world met the sport world in a sartorial showdown on and off the various courts and pitches.

With England out of the World Cup, we were still rich with sporting events on our own soil including polo, horse racing and tennis. Yes, June had us covered with sport and fashion to boot, with polo matches from Cartier to Audi, tennis with Wimbledon with the various VIP suites for Evian and Stella Artois and Moet & Chandon at The Aegon Tennis Championships, where Sir Ian McKellan dropped in for a glass of bubbly courtside. Well, it is thirsty work and with the sun out, refreshments are required.

Where there are VIPs, there is Dave Benett and his team, kept busy by the designers who dress them and the brands that feed and water them. The Evian suite had Joely Richardson and Jamie Campbell Bower playing a spot of table tennis and Ellie Goulding, Pixie Lott and Douglas Booth dropped in to keep hydrated.

Royal Ascot also offered the fashion savvy and horse racing lovers something to do in the sunshine instead of mourning England’s World Cup loss. We had a large team on the ground creating and capturing interesting content from the unseen heroes, behind-the-scenes in the vets and chaplains to the well groomed race-goers and world-class jockeys.

If that wasn’t enough the British Fashion Council put on Men’s Collections for four days celebrating the best of our designers from Burberry to Tom Ford to Paul Smith and everyone in between. We were front row, backstage and at the after parties with every angle covered. Burberry is always our favorite, a garden party in Kensington Palace Gardens with a custom-made tent bringing everything we love about British summertime, music and tailoring into one event. And of course David Gandy. Yes, what a wonderful June it was.
