Cannes Lions is a global advertising festival where 12,000 people from 94 countries come together to be inspired by seven unmissable days of learning, networking and celebration.
On day 3 of the festival, together with Lean In Organization and Facebook, we hosted a lively panel of business influencers such as Jonathan Klein, Co-Founder and CEO of Getty Images; Sheryl Sandberg, Founder of Lean In Organization and COO of Facebook; Joanna Coles, Editor-in-Chef of Cosmopolitan; and Andrew Robertson, President and CEO of BBDO Worldwide, who engaged in a lively conversation about the power of authentic imagery to influence our world view, with a focus on female empowerment. The talk featured current examples of ad campaigns from brands that push the envelope from a consumer perspective including Pantene, Dove and others.
