Alma Haser was chosen by the British Journal of Photography as one of the top four graduates of 2010.  Her work has been featured in exhibitions around the world and she was recently shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize.

In this talk, given at Gather, Alma introduces us to her techniques combining photography with origami to reinvent portraiture.  We see how her work has evolved from self portraits to the project, Cosmic Surgery, and through to portraits shot for musicians and commissioned for advertising campaigns.
