BBC Motion Gallery and Getty Images clientele mingled at an evening drinks event held on Monday 28 April - where an interactive video wall featuring BBC content was debuted.
The event celebrated the newly signed global partnership between Getty Images and BBC Worldwide, in which Getty Images is the exclusive distributor of BBC Motion Gallery content. The event was held at the British Film Institute on London’s Southbank for its video customers across the television, media and advertising sectors.
The event featured an incredible interactive video wall using BBC content – debuted for the first time in London – and guests were intrigued to discover how keywords and moving image can interlink to create visual journeys in an innovative way.
The event was attended by 180 guests, in defiance of the scheduled tube strike. Clients were able to network with fellow industry peers, as well as meet their sales representatives within the Getty organization and understand more about the partnership between the two brands.
