Luca Sage was one of four photographers who shared their experiences shooting in remote and challenging places at our event, Gather:breaking new ground.

In this video, he tells us how he became a photographer and what he loves about shooting on film. Through his portraits, he takes us on a trip around West Africa to show a seldom documented view of local communities, from the city of Zomba, Malawi to street fights in Ghana, via football in the Ivory Coast.

Gather is a series of talks championing photography and creativity.
