There were many prestigious awards to be won for the grand event, but what many fashionistas really wanted was to see the glamour and style on the red carpet. The trends, the amazing dresses, the glitz and bling of the evening. Who looked great and who should have sacked their stylist.
Singer and now successful fashion designer Gwen Stefani looked amazing in a shimmering silver ensemble, completely encrusted with Swarovski crystals all by Atelier Versace.
It featured a crop top with a plunging neckline with horizontal gold-bordered fixture.
A floor-length skirt with a slit to the hip held with a tiny belt and buckle solely to connect to adjoining pieces of fabric. Her hair was long and sleek and most definitely rock 'n roll.
Camila Alves looked amazing in a floor length white dress with latticework-like embellishments all created by Zuhair Murad. Accompanied by a tiny clutch bag and husband Matthew McConaughey, she won approval in the eyes of all watching.
Trends were clearly visible with red standing out. More than 20 major celebrities walked the red carpet in red dresses.
