We catch-up with Entertainment Photographer Christopher Polk to find out what's in his kitbag.

Christopher's kitbag for the Oscars 2014/Personal Collection

3 x Canon EOS-1D X's
I like having all my cameras ready with lenses mounted so I can capture moments without having to change lenses.

135mm 2.0 - I use this lens to shoot from afar making candid images without talent knowing I'm shooting.
85mm 1.2
50mm 1.2
24mm 1.4 - I use this lens for closer moments shooting at a wide aperture which allows the viewer to see only the subject as it blurs out the distracting background.
16-35 2.8 - This lens is what I shoot my flash imagery with. It’s wide so I can be close to talent in small spaces and allows for the image to contain more information.
14mm 2.8 - This year at the Oscars, I shot this lens along with two ProFoto 500 watt heads on the arrivals line allowing me to light the talent while I created a wide angle of the entire arrivals line.

2 x Canon 600 flashes
Profoto transmitter with 2 x 500 watt monolights (for arrivals line)

Thinktank bag
Lumedyne flash battery
Listerine strips
Plenty of cards

Here is a photo that ran a double page spread in Vanity Fair from the 2013 Oscars. It was one of my biggest images:

HOLLYWOOD, CA - FEBRUARY 24: (EDITORS NOTE: Image has been digitally manipulated) Actress Jennifer Lawrence arrives at the Oscars held at Hollywood & Highland Center on February 24, 2013 in Hollywood, California.

And this is my personal favourite from the Oscars 2014...

HOLLYWOOD, CA - MARCH 02: (EDITORS NOTE: This image was processed using digital filters) Best Actor Matthew McConaughey backstage during the Oscars held at Dolby Theatre on March 2, 2014 in Hollywood, California.
